With our bizarre snow-one-week-sunny-and-75-the-next weather, it's probably an odd time to discuss Italian ice.

But, since there is no law decreeing it a warm weather-only treat, we will, anyway.

On the first of the month, Skinny Dips opened at 3016-A Mountain Road in Glen Allen.

The Italian ice-coffee shop offers 29 flavors of Via Veneto ice (including sugar-free cherry and lemon), Hershey's frozen low-fat yogurt, specialty coffees and pastries.
